My students will appreciate this story:
I'm flying through airport security today, rushing to my gate as usual when the guy next to me comes through his line at the same time. As he's putting himself and his bags back together (frequent travelers know you learn to do all this while walking away from security into the terminal) he pulls his hand out if his pant packet and loose change flys EVERYWHERE! You know exactly what I was thinking don't you? ABUNDANCE!! And I almost bent over and started picking it up right in front of him! After all, you have to recognize and acknowledge abundance, correct?! Thankfully, my reasoned mind kicked in and I realized that would be stealing. So I just kept walking and laughing. It's hard to convey how much energy I tap into after speaking, let's just say I can get a little carried away. This evening, it would have to be enough to just observe that abundance.
So what about you? After our work in the classroom, what kind of stuff have you noticed yourself doing to acknowledge abundance? Let me know in the comments.

I have been attracting thoughts, info, and people that are going to help me hit my recruiting goals for 2011! Thank you Jason for all the hard work you are doing in Omaha! Oh and you could have helped Mr. traveler pick up his chang and then given it back to him...Act's of kindness are just has powerful! Go out and get you unfair share this weekend my friend and have a great Thanksgiving! What does a guy like you with your diet eat on Turkey day?

Hey Gary! I eat pretty well at Thanksgiving. Everything comes from Whole Foods: a small bit of organic turkey, tons of vegetables, Jon's squash soup, sweet potato rolls, pumpkin pie without the crust and red vino!! Anyway, I'm thankful I'm working in Omaha and that my friend is there to take care of me. :-)

What you focus on Expands! In one of my dreams last night I was walking outside and saw a pile of trash in a random place. I felt compelled to lift the trash and there it was: A pile of quarters, $422.50 to be exact. And what do you think my profit share check is this month? That's right $422.50!

Cool story Mr. Lewis! Come to Austin and do that trick with my trash, okay? ;-)

Warmest Greetings,
Although I thoroughly enjoyed your post immensely, there are issues I must disagree with. Abundance is not when you see it, abundance is when you own it. But anyhow, you have an interesting viewpoint and I thank you for letting me share this with you.
