What makes a successful Realtor?

Is Eleanor Mowery Sheets really a good Realtor? Is Dee Shultz really a good Realtor? This weekend I have my students on my mind; next week I'll start session 1 with a group and graduate another. The group I'm starting to work with has chosen to let me take them under my wing and remove their option to fail for the next six weeks while they learn Floyd Wickman's material. The group I'm graduating has a tougher choice: continue to master the material or slide backwards to where they were 42 days ago. Eleanor and Dee are both at the top of the industry and I believe they are both the #1 producers worldwide in their respective companies (if not they aren't far off #1). I know they are both great Realtors but what makes them successful? A choice. Most people would never consciously say "I'm chosing not to be a success" but as Seth Godin points out...not choosing is still a choice.
